Volunteering and Virtual Community

As a Fortune 500 leader with 82 divisions worldwide, the company had been engaging employees in volunteering for several years. HR and Marketing leaders were eager to evolve the programs beyond traditional hour tracking into team building and virtual community. In partnership with Noonday, the company launched the "Leading the Way" engagement program, seamlessly integrating volunteering, sustainability, and wellbeing into a unified experience on the Noonday mobile app.

Onboarding, Text MessageInvitations & Social Sharing
As part of the Noonday onboarding strategy, the company employees used text message onboarding with the keyword "Leading" to begin their journey directly on the Noonday mobile app. Volunteering was launched, and employees were incentivized with points and rewards for sharing their experiences, while receiving new "KaPow" themed gear to mark their involvement.
