The company’s teams across six global divisions had always enjoyed coming together for impact, but with the COVID-19 shelter-in-place mandates, a new strategy and virtual partner became necessary. Employees, who had relied on in-person volunteering, had to transition to virtual engagement to sustain a culture focused on their core pillars of impact. They quickly realized that mobile engagement would be key to keeping teams connected in a real-time community. In just three weeks, the company and Noonday developed the strategy, communication plan, and rewards structure required for the formal launch of their virtual impact programs.
